I want to know,is there any extension or any setting through which assignee can get an email of respective tasks list which has been assigned to the assignee,Currently i am doing it manually and it consume lots of efforts to send the task list to the assignee which has been assigned to them.
Would be great if an alert email will be sent to the assignee before they start their work,Task can be of any type-Like story, subtask, bug or any other type which has been added.
Hi @Shivam Sharma ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you using Jira Server or Cloud?

Hi @Shivam Sharma ,
As you are using Jira Server, you can fulfil your requirement using Scheduled Jobs feature from any third party add-on.
(FYI - In Jira Cloud, for your requirement, you could use Scheduled Actions feature of JMWE )
Hope this helps!
Thanks,

Hi @Suprija Sirikonda _Appfire_
Thanks for the revert,Is there any other way apart from script runner,I have gone through with filter subscription, can you please let me know about it if we can do by having filters save and shoot the email, will it work?
Thanks

Hi @Shivam Sharma ,
You can use Filter Subscription - it will run a query on a scheduled basis and email the result to you or a group of people. But it cannot send an email to the assignee of those specific tickets.
One approach is - every user has to create a filter to list the tickets assigned to him/her and then subscribe to the filter to receive emails based on the schedule.
Thanks,
Suprija

Hi @Suprija Sirikonda _Appfire_
Thanks for the revert,
This wont be work for Multiple sprints i guess, because there are multiple devs who will work on sprint tickets and they need to create their own filter to the list of tickets which is assigned to them, every time they need to create different different for every sprint.
Cant we have any option in the jira setting where we can set permission and then each dev can get an alert in the morning on the tickets which is assigned to them

Hi @Shivam Sharma ,
AFAIK - out of the box this is not possible in native Jira which fulfils your requirement of sending emails to the assignees every day, without any add-on. Again, I might be wrong here.
One approach is to follow the workaround suggested in my previous comment.
Thanks,
Suprija
