how do i hide Boards from the top headeer?

The Board will be there as long as you have JIRA Agile (JIRA Software) because it is one of its essential feature. 

You can hack the codes or introduce some javascript to hide it but I'm highly against recommending that approach for so many reasons.

The only clean way to do it is remove the user's access to JIRA Software.
