Hi @priyabhath ,
Thanks for asking your question here on the community.
I am Dhiren, one of the Solutions Engineer working at Exalate.
Exalate is a completely decentralized and fully bi-directional issue sync solution. You can synchronize GitHub Issues with Jira Issues and can also use the Bulk Exalate functionality to sync historical issues as well.
The tool provides you a scripting interface through which you can choose what information will sync within the issue and you can also map fields like Assignee, Status, Title, Comments, Labels etc.
Do let me know if you want to know more about how the solution works!
Thanks, Dhiren
@priyabhath hi there. If you're still looking for a way to make the Jira GitHub integration and sync data, feel free to check out ZigiOps at the Atlassian marketplace. It's a fully no-code integration solution that is 100 % secure and connects the two bi-directionally in a couple of minutes. ZigiOps is flexible and customizable so it can fit various use cases. Feel free to give it a try via the free trial option.
Regards,
Diana

Generally speaking, you can import issues by csv or by API. It depends on what format you can get from github.
