how to convert an issue to a task

In JIRA I created several issues but they should be tasks.  How do I convert them to tasks?

You 'move' them. Bulk edit and select move. This should give you the option to change the issue tyoe

I believe you can edit the issue type if the workflow of the 2 issue types are the same, otherwise you have to 'move' them
