how to copy issue+subtask to another epic

Hi 

I want to copy issues with tasks and subtasks to another epic.
They have the same tasks so I want to copy it.
I tried cloning it but cloning just allows to copy links.
I want the whole tasks and subtasks to be copied to another epic.

Is there any efficient way to do that?

Hello Ito, this functionality is not available with the standard features of Jira. You will need to install a third-party app. I recommend using DeepClone: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1218652/deep-clone-for-jira?tab=overview

Your use case is indeed possible with our app. If Deep Clone is installed on your instance, you must follow these steps: 

• Under Filters > View All Issues filter for all tasks under the Epic using JQL ("parent link" = KEY-123)
• Click on Apps > Bulk Clone on the top right navigation
• Select "Clone subtasks" in the Bulk Clone dialog
• Select "Edit Parent using Field Editor" next to "Parent"
• Enter the key of the new parent and clone
