how to start jira after instatllation

I have installed jira and opened via launch jira (browser shortcut). When i opened first time it goes to jira site so i created my account but the problem is when i again open my jira through launch jira (browser shortcut) it rediret to tomcat site . iam using a free trail for 30 day . kindly reply , thanks .

Hi Balamurugan,

First, you need to make sure that your JIRA instance has started-up correctly. After that, open your browser and direct it to localhost:Port_Number or your IP:Port based on your configuration.

you type localhost:8080 in the browser, then you see jira login page.
