I have been using a template and config file to load projects for a couple of years.  In the past every time I loaded a new Epic into a Project the tasks and sub-tasks displayed in numerical order.  This worked well for organizational purposes and easy viewing.  The last 3 Epics that I loaded are now in random order.  I am using the same template and config file as always.  I cannot find a way to view them in numerical order again.  I looked around on the community and can't find anything.

Hi @Dan_Jackson  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I am unaware of a way to do this with Jira out-of-the-box... There is a suggestion to add that functionality:

Ability to change the order of the Issues in Epic  https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-40929

As a work-around, you could create a CSV to import items *after* you create your epic, and create the items in the order you want.

Best regards,

Bill
