how will i know if the board is Kanban/Scrum/other board?

A board is created in JIRA and would like to know what is the type of board created?

Hi @Marutha Nayaki ,

Welcome to the community!

Kanban boards usually say "Kanban board" at the top.  They also don't have a backlog tab on the left sidebar.

As scrum board will have this backlog tab.

You can also click boards (in the header) > view all boards and there will be a column to show if it is scrum on kanban

As both have backlogs if enabled, Scrum boards will have sprints whereas Kanban boards do not.
