i want to change Issue status color from green to Yellow

Is this possible and how ?

There's a way but it is not out of the box.

Here's a plugin that's available to change to a variety of colors you want and for different statuses:

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

The color of the status depends on the status of the Category, I am afraid they cannot change in the jira cloud.
