hi all,

I have an export file from on premise in csv, but the most important information test step, data and result is in json format within the csv as custom field. I do not manage to map the columns. How can I import the file?

Here an example of the custom field

[{"id":11077,"index":1,"step":"user checks delivery times for a product that is available in PDP\n","data":"","result":"delivery times for public portfolio products on stock is 1-2 days\n\ndelivery times for public portfolio products not on stock is 4-6 days\n\nin case different delivery times apply, always the longest delivery time is displayed","attachments":[]},

..... followed by the 2nd and 3rd step

Thanks a lot,

Marina

Hi @Marina Sondermann

Please check this approach from the Xray Knowledge Base:

https://docs.getxray.app/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=46890954#id-[Xray]TemplatesformigratingTestsfromCloudtoServer/ServertoCloud-Exportandimporttests:Server/Cloud

It should be helpful to migrate tests from Server to Cloud since the template will generate the output in the format you need to import the Test case in Cloud.

You may even edit the template and remove or add information from it.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Rogerio Paiva [Xray Support Team]
