Re-indexing in cloud

Hi,

Recently migrated to Jira Cloud from Server. When on Server I needed to reindex often.

My question is for cloud, is this necessary to do all the time. Or when is re-indexing a must do.

Thanks for your help

Cloud gives you no access to re-indexing, it does it when it needs to, which is infrequent and usually only when you change fields in ways that force it (changing a searcher for example).

That actually applies to Server too - "often" should be months apart or when you make changes that need an index rebuild (again, searchers mostly), or upon upgrades or systemic failures.
