installation issue

Gregoire Mulliez April 4, 2012

Hi

I just installed jira on a linux / debian server

It's a "regular" version, not with test liscences.

I installed the Jira Mobile Connect SDK and it seems to be fine, but I just can't get the "Jira Mobile connect" section in my project configuration. I removed and retried, without any success

I am using very last version of server, I can't figure out why it's not woking

where could I look to understand why it's not working ?

regards

greg

Is there any error message in your logs? Also, are you sure that your machine is accepting connections from the outside (i.e. an iPhone)? Also, which version of JIRA and JIRA Mobile Connect are you using?

Hi Gregoire,

Apologies about the mix-up between versions. The APIs in JIRA 5.0 have changed since JIRA 4.4.x and we needed to release two separate versions of the plugin. As you discovered, JIRA 5.0 uses JMC 1.1, not JMC 1.0.11.

As a result, I will ensure that the JIRA 5.0 version of JMC is the suggested version on plugins.atlassian.com

Cheers
