is there any problem if I delete fields ?

Hello dear Community, 

Since there is a situation that I am not 100% sure about, I decided that I should consult you.

We are cleaning the system and we have cleaned many unused projects. Now it is time for unused custom fields.

If I delete the fields in the case as in the photo, will any project or screen be affected by this situation?

As far as I know, it is not affected, but I have to be sure.

Hello @Y_ Oezl 

I recommend strongly that you DON'T delete the two fields that start with [CHART]. Those are custom fields added natively by Jira. I think they might be used by gadgets available in the Dashboards. If you delete those two fields and find that functionality is broken because of it, you will not be able to recreate those fields.

Before deleting the custom field, please run a JQL query against that custom field checking that it does not have any data.

If the query does not return any result, it would be safe to delete such fields.

As the statistic itself says that those custom fields are not being used by any projects, they can be deleted without anything being affected.
