Welcome to the community!

You need to identify what have the issues got on them (or what is missing) that causes them to be dropped by your board filter.

Start with a look at the board filter - what does that select and do your missing issues match it?

On the Board > Configure > General, is the "Shares" filter shared with a group or project you are a member of? Also do you have a Kanban board sub-filter? This sub filter may need to be changed.

On the Board > Configure > Swimlanes is the "Base Swimlanes on" field something that could be masking your issues. For example, if you have it grouped by Epics, but you have only created Epics so far, it would not show anything, until you create stories under those epics.

I just deleted the board and project and set it up again, everything is fine.   Not sure if the previous creator configured something I didn't see.  Anyways, thanks for the help.

it seems the filter is correct.  It just bases the query on project name.   And i See the items in list view, but not board view.  When clicking on View on Board on a story, I get " There are no boards which contain this issue."

When setting up the statuses for each swim lane, it  says there are 3 items, which is correct.  But when looking at the kanban board, it says 0

and I cannot view my saved filter on the board either.   Its says

No issues here

Create an issue or check the board settings.  I Created an issue,  it doesn't appear.  So like, why doesn't this so smart UI tell me what its not showing?  Its a brand new board, i created tasks for it.  Seems like I am spendig more time on this than I should.   Since I'm paying for it , you'd think there was a support line.
