I upgraded to JIRA 7 from JIRA 6.4.5 and the JIRA Service is still pointing to TOmcat 7 instead of the Tomcat 8 that is in the new JIRA directory. How do I change the service?
Hello Rob,
I believe you'll be able to workaround that with the following instructions: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+5.2+Service+cannot+be+started+with+a+Error+2%3A+The+system+cannot+find+the+file+specified

It was apparently not fixed, as it still happened as recently as October when we upgraded. Rodrigo's post was the solution. I had to create a new service pointing to the correct Tomcat.
