jira import of projects

Hi,

   I have a query, if we try to import new project to jira..Does the issue imported contains the attachments ??

As per my understanding,the attachments wont be available ,we need to use any third party plug-in??

Are you using the 'Jira Cloud Migration Assistant' ? If so, yes this tool also migrates the attachments as you can see in the table under https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/what-gets-migrated-with-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant/

You can also import attachments using a CSV export as explained here:
