jira roadmap destroys my board

I saw the new roadmap on my dashboard and wanted to take it for a spin, now most of the issues on my board does not show  including some of the members of the board dont also show , please i would like my board restored back to my default settings

The Roadmaps feature was released today and further testing your scenario in my test instance, I was able to see that there is no turning back if you accidentally select another issue type as Epic in your board, which is what I assume that happened here.

I've raised a bug to our dev team, but I was also able to turn around this behaviour by:

1. creating a new issue type (which is guaranteed to be a story-level type)
2. then deleting this wrong epic type (that I accidentally converted) and moved all issues to the newly created type
3. renamed this 'new' issue type as the old one that I've deleted.
