I have a post-function in which I am copying value from reporter to assignee (a user object) After running the workflow the new assignee is shown as the UserName and is not identified as a user of the system.
If I setup the post-function to copy value from a customfield of type single user picker then the copy action is done correctly.
JIRA version 6.4.7 (Data Center)
JIRA Suite Utilities version 1.4.11
I solve my issue by using post-function Assign to Reporter
