limit activity stream based on field values

Hi folks,

is there any way to limit the activity stream gadget in a way to include only issues with a defined value for a custom field? I could easily set up JQL's like that but no filter for the activity stream. Is there any other way to achieve this?

I found STRM-1241 and STRM-2111 already which points me to JRA-19155 (100 votes BTW!). Still no solution. Also there used to be a plugin Activity Stream Report but it's neither maintained, nor stable.

I guess the answer is plain 'no', thought I'd ask anyway in case I missed something.
