Hi @Vyshnavi S
Welcome to the community!
In Jira Cloud, the backup and restore functionality is not available directly to users. However, there are alternative methods to backup your dashboards before deleting them. Here's one approach:
1. Export Dashboard Configuration
2. Save Dashboard Filters
By following these steps, you will have a backup of the dashboard configuration and filters used. If you need to restore the dashboard in the future, you can import the dashboard configuration XML file and recreate the filters using the saved XML files.

Hi @Vyshnavi S
apart from creating a copy (which probably defeats the purpose) there is no way to backup dashboards.
The data behind the dashboard is stored in the Jira issues /projects itself, so the only thing that the dashboard stores are the Gadget configurations really.
Maybe create some screenshots of the configs so you can recreate them, if they are complicated enough?
