move workflow scheme from test environment to production

Is there a way to transfer a workflow scheme from test to production without rekeying the workflows.

We are presently using 4.2.4.

Can we export a single workflow schema into XML and them import it in another jira instance.

Any update on how to export a single workflow scheme and move to test to production.
