Is there a future plan to have multiple boards in team managed projects?
We would like to give our project teams autonomy to create workflows/statuses by using team managed, but the inability to have multiple boards has been a hard stop for us.
We understand that changing the filtered views basically creates new views/boards, however, the inability to change the status/column view in a board is the main blocker.
Curious if there was a solution or work around or any features coming soon that would alleviate this pain point for our organization.
Thanks,
Another workaround is to have a company managed dummy project as a "home of the boards" where everybody can create boards. In such a project, you can easily create multiple boards even for team-managed projects. These boards can then be linked to your team-managed project using the shortcut functionality. That's how we do it and it works like a charm.
Hello @Colleen Shewchuk
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The work-around is to create a saved filter for the project and then create additional boards based on the Saved Filter. Refer to this article for more information:

Team-managed projects in Jira cannot support multiple boards. Atlassian recommend using company-managed projects if you need multiple boards, as they support this flexibility and allow different workflows per board. For now, a workaround is creating filtered views, but it won’t allow different status/column configurations per view.
