Hi i want my epic should automatically change when stories/task/Sub task has change in status. I am using the Datacenter version.

Hi @Lakshmi Narayanan Ramalingam,

You can achieve this using Jira automation!

Set up an automation rule that triggers when a story/task changes status. Then, add an action to transition the parent epic's status accordingly.

You might need additional rule to handle sub-task to Story/Task automation.

You'll find the automation settings in your Project settings > Automation.
