×Hi, we are currently evaluating the performance of server vs cloud. Has anyone come across and documentation testing the performance (loading speed) etc? I've read about the the issues of next-gen projects with over 300 cards, so we're planning on going with classic projects.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael
Hello @Michael Wang ,
Performance is always one of Atlassians top priorities and is a constantly improving metric. I recomend taking a look at the following Community article that was written by the lead Product Manager on the Jira Cloud platform on the topic relating to improvements and tracking on the Jira cloud side, and it points to a few other articles on the topic as well with a lot of info on the topic:
With Jira Server there are going to be a lot of caveats to this as well as its going to be entirely contingent on the hardware used locally, but we have the following article that goes into some of the details and has a few example load tests comparing jira 8.7 to 8.8, and additional links to additional resources:
Hope this helps and is what you were looking for, let me know if you have additional questions.
Regards,
Earl
