project import and export

i have jira server with old ver 7.1 and new one with ver 7.3

how can i export project from 7.1 to work in 7.3

i want all data and config too

Update JIRA Core

We used Project Configurator a lot for projects migration between Jira instances.

But you have to make sure your source and target instances are in the same version, and if any of your projects to be migrated utilized any custom fields or plugins, you have to make sure the plugin and custom fields settings are identical between source and target Jira instance.

In general, keeping your source and target instances as identical as possible will make your migration easier.
