query output to a file

Dear valuable contributors,

I would like to get the ouput of a JQL to a file, something like 'assignee WAS "nick.bright" > c:\list.tst'.

I tried to highlight and copy form the web page, but it doesn't work !!

Any help would be most welcomed.

Hi Prakash,

There are options you can export directly into a CSV, Word, XML etc.. from the Issues -> Search for Issues screen. 

Run your JQL query to get the results in the search, then click on the Export button on the top right, this will give you available file options to choose from.
