query to include sub-taks of bugs

Hi, I've been experimenting with how to query to include sub-taks of bugs.

Specifically, we're using quick filters to find Bugs in our Sprint. Easy, make a quick filter issuetype = bug.

But when dev starts making sub-tasks out of those tickets, the get hidden from board, because are not "bug".

How can I include those sub-task on the board using this quick filter?

I tried using the "parent" field, but that only accepts issue ids.

you have a point, but unfortunately we need to use Swim lanes by component.

Would Swimlanes by Issue type help?
