When adding an attachment to a Bug issue I get the following prompt...
Field 'attachment' cannot be set. It is not on the appropriate screen, or unknown.
This only happens for Bug issues and only in the current project I'm working in (i.e. I can add attachments to Bugs in other projects).
Any suggestions on how to resolve this Bug bug would be greatly appreciated.

Check the screens used by that project for the Bug work type. Then be sure that the Attachment field is on all of the screens - Create, Edit, and View.

On the Jira issue creation screen, you can click on the "..." (more options) and use the "Find your field" search feature to check how a specific field is currently configured.
If any configuration is needed, Jira will also show a helpful link that allows you to navigate directly to the relevant settings page.
