"Releases" dates not working

tglucky July 17, 2018

I'm using Jira cloud. When I set a date range for a release (for example, release 1.4, start date 2018-07-05, end date 2018-10-30), it will save, then revert back to a date range that i never set (2016-12-26 - 2018-07-17). No matter what I do to change that release, it reverts back to that date range. I've tried different formats, as well as picking from the calendar picker. No success.

Anyone have the same issue, or figured out a workaround?

Hi Tom,

Usually, this issue is related to the BigPicture add-on.

The BigPicture add-on has a synchronize version date setting.

As we don't have access to your instance, can you please let us know if your instance has this add-on?

If so, please open the BigPicture > Program manager > Click on the cog Icon on the "Program" > Configuration > Synchronization > Untick "Synchronize JIRA versions" > Save and sync.

This will need to be done on all programs listed impacting your projects.

Please, give a try and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Angélica
