"Suddenly" we have a new Default Priority Scheme. The old one is renamed with a trailing "." ???

Hi there - sometimes I really begin to like Cloud software where things suddenly happen (irony off)

Since "some months" we have a new Default Priority Scheme in our cloud instance which has a whole set of new priorities like High / Highest / Medium ...
The original Default Priority Scheme is still there, but renamed to "Default Priority Scheme." Please note the trailing "dot" at the end and it contains the known levels.

Did I miss some change ? I took a short look into the cloud changelog, but couldn't find something related to the "Default prio scheme" (but didn't searech too deep :( )

Any ideas when and why this was introduced and how can I get rid of the new Default and bring the original back to Default ?

Thanks a lot in advance - regards Christoph

Hi @Christoph Körner , thanks for your post.

I had a look here https://cloud-updates.released.so/all and in the documentation for priorities in the cloud - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-priorities/ but I don't find any reference to what you are describing.

I remember a time when we were doing migrations from server, which had Priority schemes, to cloud, which did not. I recall knowing that it had changed in cloud, but I don't know when.

To answer the question about what happened and when, in your instance, I think you will need to open a ticket https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ . As you said, I also try to search for this kind of thing in the audit log without much success.

Best wishes

Hi Valerie - thanks for your ideas - our server to cloud migration took place in October last year and was widely supported by an experienced Atlassian platinum partner. I pretty sure, that these strange schemes were not present at that time.
BTW: Checking more closely I found some more:
"Default Issue Type Scheme." / "Default Issue Type Screen Scheme." / "Default Field Configuration Scheme." / "Default Notification Scheme." / "Default software scheme - 1"
Will check with our Partner or with Atlassian Support. If I recieve something notable I'll post it here.
