restrict the field options

hello

i wonder if i could restrict the value of a select list field by the users group or roles

for example :

i have select list named: type that contain 2 option

1-high

2- low

i want the user in group A to be able to select only option 1

and the users in group B have the option to select both options

Not out of the box. You'd need scripting. I don't use it so I can't help with writing it.
