server migration

I have a Atlastian Jira 6.2.7 running on our Linux server.  I would like to migrate this to the Atlassian Cloud, but I have two concerns before getting started:

• This version seems too far behind for the cloud migration.  Do I have to upgrade before, or does the migration app work with this version?
• I am unable to connect to the marketplace for some unknown proxy reason and I wonder if that isn't also an issue.

for the first topic - yes, an upgrade of Jira would be needed as time or writing.

I am not sure for the marketplace connection - but rather a general hint would be to rule out any suspicious configuration issues beforehand to increase the chances for a smooth transition. This might also include failing connections through proxy as well.
