smartvalue for projectrak project fields

Elyashiv Grosser January 31, 2022

Is there a way to access an issue's project, projectrak fields with smartvalues?

What I want to achieve is adding user(s) as watchers to an issue if the label XXX was added to it.

My solution was to use an automation rule, triggered by a label of an issue was edited.

If the new label is XXX then add watcher(s) to the issue. The desired watchers are indicated in the project projectrak layout in a dedicated project multi-user field (label XXX watchers).

But I didn't succeed in accessing the value from the label XXX watcher using smartvalues or using any other method.

Is there a way? Maybe someone has a better solution?

Thanks

Hi @Elyashiv Grosser

Are you using Jira Cloud or Data Center?

OK!, currently Projectrak Data Center doesn't have independent smart values, but maybe you can get it mapping Projectrak fields into Jira fields, and then you can use the project values as issue value:

Please, check our documentation and try it!

Please, if you have any problem I recommend you to raise a ticket in order to give you a better support.

I hope it helps!
