sprint view, why does right-click menu appear so far away and truncated?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
In Jira, in the sprint "swimlane" view, you can right-click on a jira item and it provides options to move to another sprint (amongst other choices). However, that context menu appears far above the item clicked and is often truncated with items on it that are unreachable. Jira has behaved this way for at least a year.
