I created three swimlanes on a Kanban board and they don't show up.    Also how do I assign a story / issue to a swimlane?     My swim lanes are querie and the jql is epic name.

Hi @Michelle Hales

Swimlanes will only show if there is at least one issue in them - if not, they remain hidden.

The stories should show up as long as your board query does not exclude them - and its best to search via Epic Link rather than Epic Name, to show the stories below each.

However, you can base swimlanes on Epics as an option when setting up lanes - if you have no further customisation past Epic in the query lanes you've built, this is probably an easier option for you :)

Hi @Michelle Hales

A swimlane will appear on your board if at least one issue is resolved from its jql code.

To assign an issue to a swimlane, you will have to update your jql accordingly.

Cheers,
D.
