On the timeline, I can only see 1 of my sprints, however I have several in the future.

How can these be made visible?

Hi @Esther Puente Säld ,

Welcome to Atlassian Community Forum!

To make future sprints visible on the timeline in Jira, you need to ensure that the dates for these sprints are set and visible in the sprint view (backlog). Here are the steps you can follow:

  1. Navigate to the Backlog: Go to your project's backlog in Jira.

  2. Create Future Sprints: If you haven't already, create future sprints by clicking on "Create sprint" at the top of the backlog. This will allow you to plan upcoming sprints.

  3. Add Dates to Sprints: For each future sprint, click on "Add dates" to set the start and end dates. This is crucial as the timeline will display sprints based on these dates.

  4. Ensure Permissions: Make sure you have the necessary permissions to manage sprints. This includes the ability to create, edit, and update sprints.

  5. Check Timeline Settings: In the timeline view, ensure that the settings are configured to display future sprints. This might involve checking any filters or settings that could be hiding future sprints.

By following these steps, you should be able to see your future sprints on the timeline in Jira. If you continue to experience issues, it might be worth checking if there are any specific settings or permissions that need to be adjusted in your Jira instance.
