I like to know how to view timelines and calendar in the new navigation rollout planned this week.

Timelines

Do you mean Plans?

• Open Left Nav 
• Click Plans

Calendars

These live in projects...

For JSM Projects you'd go:

• Open Left Nav
• Click Projects
• Click Views
• Click Calendar*

For other Jira Projects you'd go:

• Open Left Nav
• Click Projects
• Click Board
• Locate Calendar* in the project nav, now spread over the top.
  Note: The Calendar option won't be visible if it does not fit (click More to drop-down more project options).

* assuming the Calendar feature is enabled in the Project.
