Hi,
I am currently unable to create automation, I want the work item to be assigned to the user that creates it but it wont even fire, any ideas ?
It's a problem with Jira, they're having issues:

Hi,
I have a rule that has worked no problem for a couple of months. Today it seems that is is not working.
My rule is: when a comment is added, an email is sent. I haven't touched it. And suddenly today it's not working.
I am wondering if there is a problem with Jira? their triggers are not working?

Hello @Mihai D
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
What is the Project Scope for that rule? Look at the Rule Details page for that information.
Have you published the rule?
Have you enabled the rule?
Are you creating an item within a Project specified in the Project Scope?
Automation rules are triggered by the completion of an event. With the Work Item Created trigger, the rule will not be triggered until the item is saved (i.e. the user clicks the Create button at the bottom of the Create dialog). Is that event being completed? Is the user clicking the Create button at the bottom of the Create dialog?

Hi,
Yes the rule is enabled and validated, not sure about published as I cant find such option. but yes the scope is the right project.
And yes the event is completed, I raised 5 tickets and they are all assigned by default to the default assignee of the project.
