unable to get the mails when some one tag me on jirs

Are you receiving any notifications from Jira?

Or none at all?

Are other users receiving notifications when mentioned or is everyone affected by this?

Is the correct email in your Jira User Profile?

Are you an admin user? In that case check the mail queue in the admin panel and read through your JIRA application logs as this will most likely be the best way to find out what is going wrong where.
