Maintenance windows occur daily between 1 am and 3 am in the timezone of the server your product is on.
We use maintenance windows whenever a change, bug fix, or essential maintenance requires some downtime to roll out to your products
The window is for 2 hours but usually gets done before the same,
Your instance should be up after the maintenance is complete.
But if you still facing issue you should raise a ticket here : http://support.atlassian.com
