updating jira, need database info

WE are upgrading software on server

it asks for database type

host name/ port

Name of database 

 

where do we get this info, i can not find database name anywhere

We did use all the default when installing

Look at /jira-home-directory/dbconfig.xml

how are doing this upgrade? normally Jira Software upgrade does not ask for this type of information. 

Nevertheless, if you want to know what database and db credentials Jira is using you can look for a file called dbconfig.xml in the home directory of Jira.
