upgrading jira from 8.2.3 to 8.13

We plan to perform upgrade from 8.2.3 release to the latest LTS release which is 8.13. Are you aware of any obstacles or other issues that could be caused by such a direct upgrade

Dear @charif hamza ,

there is no chance to get all combinations of possible upgrade paths validated. So my recommendation is:

• read all the release notes carefully
• backup DB / home dir
• upgrade first to next LTS from your version - it is 8.5.x
• backup again
• then from 8.5.x to 8.13.x is in most cases save - LTS to LTS upgrades have a very high focus of Atlassian's QA.
