Hi,
I have a kanbanboard "Bezorg" with the next filter: project = BZN ORDER BY priority DESC
When i want to use Timelines the next error occured: The timeline isn’t available because it uses a filter that contains multiple projects. Adjust the board filter to only include work from Kanban borden (KB) to use your timeline.
Can some help me to resolve this problem because i'm use a filter with one project, in this case "bzn"
regrads,
(this is the only way I've been able to recreate this issue, with the details provided)
Is the project referenced in the filter is also the *Location* of the board ? It's often the case that a board is collecting work items from one project, but is located in a different project.
Board settings > Details > Location
SUGGESTION :
Can I suggest your filter is ordered by rank ? Reason : It will allow you to drag and drop the order of your issues to infer which ones come before eachother (useful with the Epics pane). You will then be able to use 'Group by' queries to have swimlanes of priority work.
project = BZN ORDER BY Rank ASC
Hello @Peter van der Burg ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)
Navigate to your board settings and check under Filter details, how many projects are listed.
''
Also make sure this board is present in the same project where you want the timeline feature.

Welcome to the community.
Is the board on project BZN or on another project, see board settings of the project.
The board needs to be on the project BZN to have the timeline view to work.

As I mentioned, the board is not on the project BZN , but on project KB.
Change the location of the board.

I can't explain this as well. I can't see this request as a feature or a Bug.
You could raise an issue at Atlassian Support to have them look at this and see of this is a bug or as by design.

Hi, I have changed the location to BZN (Bezorgen) and now it's working. Thanks.
Strange that the location gives the problem
