That's a topic that has been extensively discussed in the community, so I recommend simply searching for it. :)

There's also this very detailed blogpost about the admin role after recent changes: Say ‘hi’ to our new user admin role and the official documentation: What are the different types of admin roles? 

The site admin role, for example, is not relevant anymore as it was part of the original user management.
