Why the users do not get intimation email when i assigned task to them? Because of this issue most of the tasks get delayed.
Check your notification scheme on your project. Depending on how you are actually assigning the issue, if you check your workflow for the step where you do the assinee, check your post function. It is probably firing a generic event (if your admin has not changed it to what it should be) Once have confirmed the event that is getting fired, verify that the assgnne is notified, in your notification event. If assignne is not in the notification scheme, then click on "add" to add them in. The changes will take effect as soon as you save it.
Also verify that they receive other emails. if they are then your know that their email is configured properly. If they don't receive any emails, and if you try to "send an email" which they don't receive or which errors out, then the problem is your email configuraiton.
Hi Uzma, I believe it could be two things:
1- Do you have the email notification scheme configured for the project?
2- I'm not sure if in on-demand you have a system tab in the administration section where you can see the mail queue in case the notification scheme it is already configured.
