where to adjust the sync setting for an AD group

I have two instances, same version of jira software 7.12.3,  same data set;  so in audit log, should I see identical information regarding a new user sync from Active Directory ? 

where to adjust the time setting for this AD sync on server ?

Hi Quann,

 

If the LDAP settings (Base DN, object filters...etc) are identical between the two JIRA instances, the same set of users are expected to be synchronised into JIRA server.

 

To adjust the synchronisation interval, edit the LDAP setup in JIRA and tune the Synchronisation interval under Advanced Settings:

Thank you, then back to my first question, even these two instances with exactly same settings, I can see different entries in audit log for the same member added into AD group:

instance 1 showing no delay, right away the AD group having the user in jira

instance 2 showing 3 hours delay,  first see the user added in jira user list,  second see the user added in AD group in jira

anything on server configuration side to control such 'delay' ?
