workflow and linked tickets

Hi,

I wanted to know if there is a possibility, of a workflow that looks like the below:

Billing ticket-example Billing-569

Issue type: Intercompany Billing

Status: in progress

Status: create purchase memo in

Status: Done

When the status changes to “create purchase memo in”

I would like it to create a linked or new ticket, in the buying project, with an issue type called purchase memo in.

The attachment from the first ticket in billing, should copy over to the new ticket as well.

You may need an external automation plugin. 

Automation For Jira

I do not believe out of the box Jira can create new issues via Project Automation.

You need additional plugins such as  Jira Suite Utilities or Jira Misc Workflow.
There are possibilities as you need, as; create a new issue, link to parent issue and copy attachments to parent with post functions and without coding.

Both plugins are NOT free but I like them too much.
