worklogAuthor operation - possible issue

This filter works

worklogAuthor = currentuser()

This finds nothing

worklogAuthor = currentuser() AND worklogDate >= 2018-01-01 AND worklogDate <= 2018-12-31 ORDER BY Rank ASC

Work has been this year!

support had a look, 

They suggest may have to with plugin from tempo

Hi Michael,

When work is logged in Tempo, the worklogs are stored in the Tempo database and the time spent on the issue is updated to JIRA. Therefore the worklogauthor function will not work for worklogs created with Tempo 
(see also https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TEMPO/pages/153419777/How+does+Tempo+integrate+with+the+Time+Spent+field+in+Jira).

Using cloud, what I can find is that re-indexing just happens- no option to run

Hi Michael,

The Cloud Support team can run a reindex for you, but you'll need to open a support ticket to request it. 

My recommendation would be to open a ticket for this anyway, since they'll be able to look at your instance and work with the data you have in order to understand what the issue is.

In my company Jira instance, the last filter works fine, is your Jira instance fully reindex?
