is it possible to use React code into the custom plugin's GUI?

If possible, what is the best way to do this?

Actually, Forge with UI Kit natively supports React!

If you have React experience and you want to build apps for the Atlassian Cloud, then I think it would be the best option for you.

You can do it using custom UI. You will be able to build your UI then built your app using Forge.
