Realease hub in kanban board

Hello team

Im reading an atlassian doc 

I find this :

If you are using a Kanban board, you cannot use the Release Hub to
check the status of an unreleased version. The Release Hub on
Kanban boards only shows released versions.

I do not understand because i see realeased and unreleased version in kanban project , what does it mean ?

Could you please provide us with the link to the documentation you saw that information?

Jira Server has several versions, however, I can confirm that the latest Server versions and Cloud version display the progress of both Released and Unreleased versions, Just like the documentation below:

Using the release page to check the progress of a version 

That being said, please check in the top-right corner of the page you saw that information to know what is the version that documentation is related to, comparing with the current version of your Jira Instance.
